Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission.

You will work with Graybar sales, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gather details for profitable quotes and learn pricing mechanics and systems. You will prepare material cost estimates, obtain cost information from factories and reps, and ensure on-time, accurate quotations while building relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas
• 4+ years experience preferred
• High School education
• 4 year degree in Business or related preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons
