Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. seeks a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission. You will collaborate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service teams, customers, and manufacturer reps to gather details and craft profitable quotes.

You will learn product lines, pricing mechanics, and the computer systems we use to deliver accurate quotations and ensure on-time delivery, while building strong supplier relationships for competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• 4+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 4 year degree in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons.
