Job summary
Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist in Charlotte, NC to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission. You will collaborate with sales, customer service, customers, and manufacturers to gather details and prepare cost estimates for accurate, profitable quotes.
The role requires SAP and Excel proficiency, 2+ years of quotations experience, and a high school diploma (a 2-year business degree preferred). Monday–Friday: 7:00am–4:00pm, with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in quotations or related role.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel for quotations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates of material.
- Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
- Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
- Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons.
