Job summary
Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist in Charlotte, NC to manage the quotations process from request to quote delivery. You will interact with Graybar sales and customer service teams, customers and manufacturers to gather details and build accurate, profitable quotes.
You will learn pricing mechanics and product lines while using our computer systems to support timely quotations. The role emphasizes customer service, precision, and collaboration across internal and external partners.
Qualifications
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
- 2+ years experience preferred.
- High School education.
- 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates of material.
- Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
- Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
- Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons.
