Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a quoting professional in High Point, NC to lead and coordinate customer RFQs, consolidate inputs from commercial teams, and drive faster, more accurate pricing and delivery quotes. The role emphasizes maintaining customer relationships and providing technical information while seeking improvements to operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5 years in the industry, and strong Excel skills to analyze profitability and optimize pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience.
• 3–5 years of related work experience in the industry.
• Strong profitability focus and track record.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the customer quoting process for the Livermore site.
• Consolidate RFQs from commercial teams and assign tasks to the RFQ team.
• Recommend and implement processes to speed and improve quoting accuracy.
• Quote product prices, delivery specifications and payment terms; propose substitutes.
• Generate product and price quotes as required.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and provide technical information.
• Familiarize with day-to-day operations and suggest improvements.
• Analyze win/loss rates to identify margin changes and increase sales.
• Ensure competitive sourcing strategies improve quality, cost and service.
