Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a quoting professional in High Point, NC to lead and coordinate customer RFQs, consolidate inputs from commercial teams, and drive faster, more accurate pricing and delivery quotes. The role emphasizes maintaining customer relationships and providing technical information while seeking improvements to operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5 years in the industry, and strong Excel skills to analyze profitability and optimize pricing

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the customer quoting process for the Livermore site.
• Consolidate RFQs from commercial teams and assign tasks to the RFQ team.
• Recommend and implement processes to speed and improve quoting accuracy.
• Quote product prices, delivery specifications and payment terms; propose substitutes.
• Generate product and price quotes as required.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and provide technical information.
• Familiarize with day-to-day operations and suggest improvements.
• Analyze win/loss rates to identify margin changes and increase sales.
• Ensure competitive sourcing strategies improve quality, cost and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer quoting process for the Livermore site
• Combining all RFQ’s from the commercial teams and analyzing them to assigning tasks to the RFQ team
• Recommend and i mplement processes to increase the speed and accuracy of quoting
• Quote product prices, delivery specifications and payment terms. Offer substitute products where appropriate .
• Generate product and price quotes as required .
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, communicates with customers and co-workers to provide technical information.
• Gain familiarity of the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
• Analyze win loss rates to identify margin changes to increase sales.
• Ensur e competitive sourcing strategies are being used to improve qual ity, cost and customer service.
