Job summary

The Grace Company in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, train and coach staff, and deliver a welcoming customer experience. You will translate store goals into daily actions and work closely with the Director of Customer Experience.

This full-time, salaried role oversees merchandising, inventory, sales planning, promotions, and social media content, with Saturdays required and typical hours 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and training employees.
• Ability to set clear expectations and hold the team accountable.
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Comfort with POS, order management, and inventory systems.
• Interest in fabric, sewing, or quilting with product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team, set expectations for service and daily duties.
• Manage schedules, shift coverage, and daily assignments.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing training with the Director of Customer Experience.
• Coach on product knowledge, store systems, sales techniques, and service.
• Provide feedback and document performance.
• Participate in evaluations and decisions with the Director of Customer Experience.
• Maintain a supportive team culture and clear communication.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, store readiness, cleanliness, organization.
• Ensure customer service and guidance on fabrics and quilting supplies.
• Resolve concerns per guidelines and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate merchandising, inventory, promotions, and sales planning.
• Support social media content creation with photos/videos.
