Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Strong planning and prioritization aligned with business needs.
• High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Creative problem solving and sound decision-making skills.
• Effective delegation and daily priorities execution.
• Minimum of 2+ years leadership experience in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age: 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement and loyalty initiatives.
• Analyze business trends using available reporting to identify opportunities and actions.
• Maintain World Market culture, values, and brand standards.
• Plan and execute daily tasks in absence of Store Manager and in partnership with leadership.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
• Utilize company tools and training resources to validate team execution of key functions.
• Validate and maintain Loss Prevention policies and inventory controls.
• Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training and accountability.
