Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing operator in Charlotte, NC. You will work in one or more production areas, operating continuous flow equipment and performing setup, inspection, and basic maintenance tasks.

You will follow SOPs, monitor process parameters, and address minor malfunctions while contributing to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level with little or no experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate within one or more areas in a continuous flow manufacturing process.
• Identify process disruptions/malfunctions and adjust per SOPs.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in production.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and controls to ensure specifications.
• Assemble subassemblies using hand/power tools and fixtures.
