Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) in Grovetown, GA is seeking a dedicated operator to produce pocketed coils on an ultrasonic coil machine. You will also perform routine machine maintenance and ensure materials are organized and available for production.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use mechanical measuring devices.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce pocketed coils according to established work instructions using an ultrasonic coil machine.
• Perform prescribed machine maintenance.
• Organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area, follow department housekeeping requirements.
