Job summary

Ricart Automotive seeks an Hourly QuickLane Service Advisor in Columbus, OH. You will greet customers, review service needs, and generate repair orders for technicians. You’ll develop estimates, calculate payments, and verify warranties while coordinating transportation as needed.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and flexibility to work nights and weekends are essential. Prior experience with cashier systems is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and high school education or equivalent.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication and customer interaction skills.
• Experience with cashier or credit card systems is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review daily appointment schedules and greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointment.
• Review appointment reason and ask questions to identify other issues.
• Generate repair orders for customers and dispatch to technicians.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
• Calculate customer payments, including deductibles.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents.
• Arrange towing and temporary transportation for customers.
• Answer incoming calls and set future service appointments.
• Make outgoing calls to update customers on service status.
• Support the Service Manager with additional training or duties as needed.
