Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience with QuickBooks Online, including bank feeds and reconciliations.
• Experience across more than one company/entity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Available for full-time catch-up period (40 hrs/week) for 3–4 weeks, then ~10 hrs/week.
• In-office availability in the Birmingham, AL area.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts across multiple accounts in QuickBooks Online.
• Clear and categorize backlogged transactions from bank feeds.
• Identify and resolve inter-company transfers to avoid double-counting.
• Reconcile books month-by-month, oldest to newest, until current.
• Flag unresolved items in 'Ask My Accountant' category.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records.
• Communicate progress, questions, and discrepancies clearly.
