Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a technician who can perform common light duty services or repairs in an efficient manner at our Tomball, TX service center. The role involves initiating automotive services, assessing vehicle performance problems, verifying coverage, developing estimates, and writing repair orders.

You will communicate with customers and coordinate with technicians to ensure issues are understood and the recommended services are carried out.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Less than 1 year experience in automotive service preferred.
• Ability to perform common light duty services or repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; write repair orders and develop estimates.
• Serve as communicator and liaison between customer and technician; ensure customer needs are understood and services performed.
• Maintain customer records and ensure proper workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Additional Information

Flat rate production based salary range of 25-30K per year.

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
