Job summary

SWOPE HYUNDAI in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to manage the guest service experience from arrival to return of the vehicle. You will maintain CSI, communicate repair timelines, and ensure top-tier customer care in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and computer skills.
• Able to be analytical and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a team-oriented attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Stable work history and attendance; professional appearance and work ethic.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Available for Tuesday through Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CSI rating as set by the dealership’s service manager.
• Oversee the entire guest service experience from service drive to vehicle delivery.
• Greet guests at their car with a smile and provide guidance.
• Advise guests on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Explain repair timelines and keep guests informed of changes.
• Follow up with guests via calls or emails about estimates and pickup times.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document repairs and maintenance on repair orders.
• Resolve guest concerns and questions.
• Maintain required certifications and trainings per manufacturer standards.

The Service Advisor will:

• Maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) rating as set by dealership’s service manager.
• Responsible for the entire guest service experience from the service drive until vehicle is turned back over to the guest.
• Greet every guest at their car with a smile.
• Advise guests on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Effectively communicate to the guest the timeline of repair and maintenance.
• Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to guests regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time.
• Communicate with technicians to ensure efficient work flow.
• Document repair and maintenance changes on repair order in the approved manner.
• Resolve guest concerns and questions.
• Maintain any certifications and trainings as required by the manufacturer.
