Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant facilities and machinery. The role demands strong electrical, plumbing, and welding skills, with a focus on safety and reliability in an industrial setting.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and collaborate with management to prioritize tasks, while keeping thorough maintenance records and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or quarry maintenance.
• Strong electrical, plumbing, and welding skills; certifications preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs under pressure with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant equipment and systems to detect wear or malfunctions.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
• Weld to fabricate or reinforce structures as needed.
• Coordinate with management to prioritize tasks by urgency.
• Document maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent.
• Stay updated on maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with external contractors for complex work.
• Support plant safety by identifying hazards and corrective actions.
