Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician in the United States to keep our concrete plant running smoothly. You will handle diverse maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

Welding may be required to fabricate or reinforce equipment. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with plant leaders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in plant or manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding skills; certifications helpful.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of plant safety rules.
• HS diploma; technical training a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep the plant running.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly to spot issues early.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Fabricate or repair equipment with welding.
• Maintain records of work, parts used, and time.
• Follow safety protocols and learn new techniques.
• Collaborate with plant leaders and outside experts as needed.
• Be ready for emergency repairs, including nights or weekends.
