Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Quarry Supervisor to coordinate and supervise quarry operations to ensure a steady supply of raw material for plant production. This role requires overseeing quarry workers and maintaining safety and efficiency across blasting, hauling, and material preparation.

You will work with maintenance and other departments to align production needs, control costs, and support long-term quarry development. A strong safety mindset and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of quarry/mining experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Familiar with MSHA and mining regulations.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Supervise hauling, drilling, blasting and land stripping operations as applicable.
• Ensure quarry activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor production needs and supply of rock for manufacturing.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of quarry activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to meet raw material needs.
• Assist in long-term quarry development planning and budget prep.
