Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc. seeks a Quarry Utility Operator for the 2nd shift in West Nyack, NY. You will perform preventive maintenance on quarry equipment, grease fittings, monitor fluids, and fuel equipment while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Mechanical skills and safety mindset essential.
• Basic math and ability to follow instructions.
• MSHA/OSHA training provided on hire.
• Read English and communicate effectively.
• A basic tool set for maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Wear a hard-hat, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, gloves, hearing protection and respirator as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment to maximize plant productivity.
• Perform risk assessments and work area inspections.
• Grease and maintain all grease fittings.
• Maintain proper fluid levels on production equipment.
• Fuel Equipment.
• Detect safety hazards and respond accordingly.
• May be asked to work overtime and weekends as required by manager.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
