Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical skills, and MSHA/OSHA training. Candidates should be able to read English, follow written instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills required.

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Able to perform duties without a direct threat of injury.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• MSHA/OSHA training completed upon hire.
• Demonstrates safe, productive job performance.
• Ability to read English.

Responsibilities

• Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, gloves).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and work area inspections.
• Grease and service grease fittings.
• Maintain fluid levels in production equipment.
• Fuel equipment as needed.
• Identify and respond to safety hazards and malfunctions.
• May assist other departments or perform additional duties as directed.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
