Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quarry Operator / Equipment Operator to support production at our North American sites. You will work under quarry supervisors, performing maintenance and operating equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in production, maintaining gear, and promoting safe work practices on all shifts. Candidates should be able to lift 75 lbs, work weekends if required, and perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Field of Study: Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Diesel Technology, or related trade preferred.
• 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience required; welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production functions and maintenance.
• Operate quarry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prioritize safety, quality, then production in daily tasks.
• Train and coach other employees as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to PPE protocols.
