Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Quarry Operator to assist in production and maintenance at our North American sites. You’ll report to quarry supervisors and work as part of a safety-driven team on outdoor projects across various shifts.

Responsibilities include prioritizing safety, keeping work areas clean, and coaching others while operating heavy equipment and supporting maintenance duties. Strong mechanical maintenance experience and a willingness to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Preferred fields: Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Diesel Technology or related trade.
3 years of mechanical maintenance experience required; welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety, then quality, then production.
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
Actively support key safety initiatives and improve EHS.
Keep work areas and equipment clean, tidy and organized.
Train and coach other employees as needed.
Operate or support use of haul trucks and heavy equipment listed above.
Work across shifts and adapt to outdoor conditions (hot/cold).
Communicate effectively with staff and follow health, safety and environmental policies.
