Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. in Florida seeks a Technical Account Manager to lead technical engagements with research clients and guide adoption of our quantum computing platform.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Professional Services and R&D, serving as the head of accounts for D-Wave’s advanced computing business. A strong CS/engineering/math background with Python experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role in enterprise software or research environments.
• 2+ years hands-on Python in enterprise settings.
• Experience supporting clients in research sectors is required.
• Strong foundation in optimization, algorithms, or applied math.
• Ability to explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with research clients and identify use cases.
• Collaborate with services, R&D, and sales to deliver value.
• Translate roadmap and strategy to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Represent customer needs to product and development teams.
• Deliver presentations at conferences, webinars, and events.
• Build long-term technical relationships across project lifecycles.
• Travel 30%–50% to conferences and client meetings.
