Job summary

D-Wave is seeking a Technical Account Manager to lead technical engagements with research clients in Florida and drive adoption of our quantum computing platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying use cases, solving complex problems, and delivering value through collaboration with sales, product, and R&D teams.

In this client-facing role, you will communicate with executive and technical stakeholders, translate requirements to product teams, and present our roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong customer support mindset, meeting clients and delivering candid, thoughtful guidance
• Collaborate with services, R&D, and support to hold regular technical meetings on active research projects
• Translate and present D-Wave’s vision, strategy, and product roadmap to executive-level and technical stakeholders
• Convey customer requirements to internal product and development teams, advocating for client needs
• Communicate complex technical information clearly across platforms and audiences
• Deliver technical presentations at conferences, webinars, and seminars
• Present quantum computing capabilities to prospects and map project ideas
• Support marketing by hosting webinars and representing the company at events
• Build and maintain long-term technical relationships across the project lifecycle
• Identify and recommend new projects leveraging D-Wave solutions
• Serve as a technical resource on quantum computing and industry trends
• Expect 30%–50% travel to conferences, client meetings, training sessions, and sales events
