Job summary

IQM Finland Oy in the United States seeks a Quantum Integration Engineer to ensure IQM quantum computers operate reliably across cloud, customer, and R&D environments. You will calibrate, stabilize systems, perform updates and resolve incidents.

You will work with R&D to identify deviations, debug complex issues, and translate system behavior into actionable feedback to improve the next generation of our technology used for research worldwide. Travel to customer premises may be required.

Qualifications

Master's/PhD in a related field with strong physics/engineering background.
Experience with superconducting circuits, cryogenic setups, RF systems.
Ability to analyze data and identify root causes of deviations.
Proficiency in Python or similar language.
Excellent English and Japanese communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain IQM quantum computers across cloud and customer environments.
Plan and execute calibration and service activities.
Perform on-site debugging and testing.
Analyze system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Contribute to L2 incident resolution and technical support for customer systems.
Provide structured feedback to R&D to improve performance and reliability.
Develop service documentation and laboratory best practices.
