Job summary
Fruition Group US is partnering with a venture-backed quantum technology company to recruit a Quantum Hardware Engineer. This role focuses on turning cutting-edge physics into scalable quantum hardware, in a hands-on environment that blends atomic physics, quantum information, optics and precision engineering.
You will build and test quantum hardware, run experiments, develop control systems and collaborate with physicists, hardware engineers and software teams.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related discipline and strong AMO/quantum background.
- Hands-on experience with experimental or laboratory systems.
- Understanding of light–matter interactions and quantum information.
- Lasers, optics or scientific instrumentation experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and test quantum hardware; design, assemble and optimize experiments.
- Plan and run experiments; analyze data and improve system performance.
- Apply AMO physics and quantum information to engineering challenges.
- Develop control systems across hardware and software for quantum setups.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and integrate complex experimental hardware.
- Collaborate with physicists, engineers and software teams; contribute to IP.
