Qualifications

• Ownership-driven experience designing, modeling, and validating laser-based opto-mechanical systems.
• Hands-on laboratory track record supporting high-performance hardware.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks for complex scalable system design and analysis.
• Working knowledge of Zemax sufficient for optical layouts and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own opto-mechanical subsystems within the hardware architecture, identifying risks and scalability constraints.
• Design and integrate precision components and assemblies for lasers and optics including vacuum-integrated parts.
• Translate experimental requirements into robust optical hardware for scaling quantum systems.
• Develop stability, tolerance, and error budgets for opto-mechanical systems.
