Job summary
Fruition Group US partners with a venture-backed quantum technology company to advance next-generation quantum computing hardware. We are seeking a Principal Quantum Engineer to provide technical leadership across the quantum hardware organization and help shape the platform's development.
You will set technical direction for hardware and control systems, lead multi-disciplinary programmes, and drive architecture decisions while mentoring engineers and engaging with external researchers.
Qualifications
- PhD-level or equivalent with strong research background in related fields.
- Proven ability to lead quantum hardware programmes and teams.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
- Track record delivering high-impact, technically complex projects in quantum hardware.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for design and development of quantum hardware and control systems.
- Lead high-impact programmes from concept to delivery.
- Own complex engineering challenges spanning quantum hardware and instrumentation.
- Shape platform architecture and influence key technical decisions.
- Drive innovation and IP from system design and operation.
