IonQ, Inc. in College Park, MD, seeks a Program Manager in the Architecture team to align internal quantum computer development with the Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.

You will turn test results and risk burndown into a unified schedule for government customers and manage external deliverables. You will work with trapped ion or neutral atom platforms, aim for fault-tolerant, utility-scale systems, and typically have ~5 years of hands-on quantum experience, often in defence environments.

Qualificações

• Around five years of hands-on quantum experience in industry, defence, or academia.
• Experience as a technical program manager, project engineer or chief engineer.
• Ability to plan and manage an integrated master schedule across multiple internal projects.
• Understanding of programmatics and ability to communicate with government evaluators and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain a government quality integrated master schedule across internal development efforts.
• Track, forecast and report risk to upcoming contractual milestones.
• Manage architecture, verification and validation deliverables with government evaluation teams.
• Plan the commissioning and delivery of quantum computers to customer sites.
• Organise customer site visits, technical reviews and status reporting.
