Job summary

IonQ, Inc. is seeking a Technical Programme Manager to lead global manufacturing programmes for quantum computing systems and oversee complex customer site deployments across the Americas.

The role involves orchestrating worldwide subsystem manufacturing, with photonics and advanced electronics at the centre, and ensuring on-time delivery and commissioning. The role requires five or more years of experience in technical programme management and onsite deployment, with international programme

Qualifications

• Five or more years in technical programme management, manufacturing or deployment of complex hardware systems.
• Experience leading international programmes coordinating logistics, facilities, mobility and field operations.
• Clear written and spoken communication and the ability to manage critical paths across multi-team groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of global quantum system manufacturing across production facilities.
• Lead deployment and commissioning at customer sites across the Americas, from planning through handover.
• Coordinate with research, production, compliance and logistics teams to keep builds and subassemblies on schedule.
• Manage site readiness with facilities, security, networking and staff, coordinating vendors onsite.
• Manage risk, issues and escalation across internal teams, vendors and customers to keep schedules.
