The core responsibilities of this role include: hand case-picking up to 35 lbs., approximately 60% of the day; operating MHE, including Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck, approximately 40%.

Position: First (1st) Shift Quality Technician I
Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $23.52 per hour

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and experience: at least 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck.

Role Purpose: Provide leadership, training, support, and discipline to establish, maintain, and improve the QA System. Responsible for daily QA activities to ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and policies. Lead the QA team, assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor compliance and progress.

Key Accountabilities:

• Monitor and report on QMS implementation, compliance, and effectiveness through audits, observations, and feedback.
• Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates.
• Review documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance, and Process Improvement teams to advance quality initiatives.
• Support site operations’ quality assurance compliance, including license, permit, and registration activities with regulatory bodies.
• Perform daily QA activities as directed.
• Lead and develop QMS documentation.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift operator certification or completion of training within 30 days of hire
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred
