The role requires 2–4 years of quality inspection experience, CMM programming (MCOSMOS/CALYPSO) familiarity, and GD&T proficiency; you will maintain calibration logs and assist with root-cause analysis on returns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or formal metrology training preferred.
• 2–4 years of quality inspection or dimensional metrology experience; CMM programming experience preferred.
• Familiarity with calibration systems and equipment traceability.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and statistical sampling.
• Ability to work independently, communicate findings clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision dimensional inspections using manual and automated measurement tools.
• Program and operate CMMs for part validation and root-cause analysis (MCOSMOS/CALYPSO).
• Lead calibration program to ensure gages are traceable.
• Inspect customer returns in water pump lines and document findings.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports and visual aids for operators.
• Review engineering drawings, GD&T, and specs to plan inspections.
• Maintain inspection records and calibration logs per quality system.
• Assist engineers with data collection and test setup for performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for improvements.
• Monitor supplier certifications and materials for compliance.
• Participate in internal audits and corrective actions.
