Job summary
Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Quality Technician/CMM Programmer in Oak Ridge, TN to perform dimensional inspections, program CMMs, and support FAI and process validation. The role requires strong metrology skills and experience with Calypso and PC-DMIS in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure product conformance, develop automated inspection strategies, and contribute to Manufacturing
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficiency in Calypso Programming, CMM Operation, Precision Dimensional Inspection, and GD&T.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
- Develop, modify, and execute CMM inspection programs.
- Analyze inspection results and generate dimensional reports.
- Toubleshoot measurement and inspection issues.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
- Assist with process validation and manufacturing readiness.
- Verify calibration status and support MSA and Gage R&R studies.
