Job summary

Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Beloit, WI location. The role focuses on CMM programming (PC-DMIS) and broader quality engineering tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in quality control, strong GD&T, and experience with ISO9001 or AS9100. Responsibilities include FAI/PPAP, root cause analysis, and training teammates on inspection techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality control and dimensional measurement in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Background in metals manufacturing; automotive or aerospace machining preferred.
• Expertise in PC-DMIS
• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards

Responsibilities

• Write and edit programs using PC-DMIS software based on model-based definitions and technical drawings
• Develop work instructions for CMM setup; ensure correct measurement techniques are applied per GR&R results and customer specifications
• Prepare and manage paperwork for FAI (First Article Inspection), PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and SPC
• Maintain calibration systems for fixtures and tools; support AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems and audits
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (CAR/RMA)
• Act as a technical lead by training employees on measurement equipment and proper inspection techniques
