Magna Cosma International is seeking a Quality Technician to support production, engineering, and quality by analyzing quality data and ensuring conformance to customer requirements. You will use inspection equipment to test sheet metal parts and assemblies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
This role requires experience with quality principles, SPC knowledge, strong communication, and solid mechanical and analytical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Support Production, Engineering, and Quality. Analyze and solve quality problems, prepare inspection plans and instruction, select sampling plan applications, prepare procedure, train inspectors, perform audits, analyze quality costs and other quality data, and apply fundamental statistical methods for process control. Process, gather, and disposition non-conforming material.

Responsible for support of floor operations and quality to ensure conformance to the Customer specific requirements.

Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting, and occasional stooping and bending.
