Atkore in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Quality Technician for 1st shift to ensure quality on the production floor. You will measure and inspect parts, document results, and contain nonconforming items to prevent defects.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in quality inspections, and familiarity with precision measuring tools. You will work on the production floor, supporting packaging and labeling as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred.
• 3+ years in quality inspections, measurement and spec reading.
• Knowledge of SPC is a plus.
• Able to read customer specs/prints and identify acceptance criteria.
• Experience with measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measure).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure quality parts are produced on shift and nonconforming parts are contained.
• Adhere to safety rules and 5S/lean practices.
• Measure, inspect, and document first piece and ongoing quality.
• Prevent non-conformances through containment and labeling.
