Atkore International is seeking a Quality Technician for 1st shift in Kokomo, IN. You will ensure quality parts are produced and contain nonconforming items, while adhering to safety rules on the shop floor.

The role requires 3+ years in quality inspections, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with measuring tools. A technical mindset and team collaboration are essential to meet customer specs and packaging requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years in quality inspections and measurement.
• Able to read customer specs/prints and determine acceptance criteria.
• Proficient with measuring devices: tape measure, calipers, micrometer.
• Knowledge of GD&T and basic geometry.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to safety rules is paramount.
• Measure, inspect & document 1st piece and ongoing production quality.
• Prevent non-conformances with proper containment methods.
• Label finished goods and identify suspect, rework, or defective product.
• Ensure customer packaging requirements are met.
• Most daily tasks on the production floor with physical activity.
