Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Quality Technician for 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) in Kokomo, Indiana. You will ensure production quality, inspect parts, and contain any nonconforming items on the production floor. The role emphasizes adherence to safety rules and strong teamwork with the Quality Supervisor.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years of related inspection experience; knowledge of GD&T and SPC is a plus. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years of quality inspections, measurement, and spec/print reading experience.
• Basic understanding of SPC is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T is beneficial.
• Able to read customer specs/prints and interpret acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and life-saving protocols.
• Inspect and measure parts, document first piece and ongoing quality.
• Contain nonconforming parts to prevent escapes.
• Label finished goods and identify suspect, rework, or defective product.
• Meet customer packaging requirements.
• Perform floor inspections and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Follow supervision-guided duties.
