Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology AG, a globally active family company with 140+ years in the transformer industry, seeks a Quality Systems Specialist to ensure products and processes meet ISO and regulatory standards. This on-site role in St. Johnsbury, VT offers a starting base salary of $83,800 and a full-time schedule Monday–Friday.

You will design and maintain quality systems, lead audits, analyze KPIs, drive CAPA, and coach staff to continuous improvement while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with ISO 9001 or other QMS and internal audits.
• Experience with QCP, KPIs, root cause analysis (RCA), DMS, CAPA, and statistical analysis.
• Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement and leading Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Ability to manage change in a manufacturing environment and interact with all levels of staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), statistical tools, and QMS.
• Strong analytical abilities, including descriptive statistics and control charting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs, and standards.
• Lead internal and external audits for ISO 9001 and document audits/certifications.
• Analyze KPIs and process performance; identify trends and improve data-driven quality.
• Design and deliver quality training programs for staff and continuous improvement.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and implement CAPA to enhance quality.
• Oversee customer complaint investigations and CAPA verification.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to address quality issues.
• Fulfill emergent duties in the Quality Department as needed.
