Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the quality system, maintain registrations, and drive continuous improvement across Warwick, RI and Waterbury, CT locations. The role is on-site and focuses on customer satisfaction and ISO compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in quality management, with ISO/QS experience and metallurgy understanding. The company offers competitive base pay and a plan for performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of Quality Management experience.
• ISO/QS experience.
• Experience in metallurgy and/or technical training.
• Provide leadership and guidance of Laboratory Technicians and Quality Coordinator.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of metal industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Safety Excellence and support Safety culture.
• Maintain ISO quality system and meet customer requirements.
• Prepare annual Strategic Quality Plan for objectives in quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers on quality issues to reduce costs and improve reliability.
• Lead management in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Represent Wieland Global Services with technical/quality competency with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare Quality Reports, Work Instructions, SOP drafts and related documents.
• Use problem-solving tools (A3/8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) for root cause investigations.
• Other duties to support QMS and business goals.
