Job summary

Wieland Group in Warwick, RI is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the on-site quality program across Warwick and Waterbury locations. The role focuses on maintaining ISO/QMS, driving continuous improvement, and increasing customer satisfaction.

You will prepare the Strategic Quality Plan, collaborate with customers, and guide laboratory technicians and quality coordinators while upholding Wieland's safety culture and values. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of Quality Management experience.
• ISO/QS experience.
• Experience in metallurgy and/or technical training.
• Provide leadership and guidance of Laboratory Technicians and Quality Coordinator.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety excellence and support the Safety culture.
• Maintain ISO quality system and meet customer Automotive and Electronic requirements.
• Prepare annual Strategic Quality Plan for objectives across departments.
• Collaborate with customers on quality issues to reduce cost and improve perception.
• Lead management in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Represent Wieland Global Services with quality expertise to customers and suppliers.
• Prepare Quality Reports, Work Instructions, SOP drafts and training aids.
• Use problem-solving tools to drive root cause investigations and actions.
• Perform related duties to support the QMS and business goals.
