Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant to manage multiple quality projects and safety initiatives. You will define and plan all project phases, coordinate activities, and develop deliverables with limited supervision.

You will collaborate with analysts to design quality measurement plans, track metrics, and present results to senior leadership. The role includes education and training for junior staff and data coordination across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or Project Management OR 6+ years without a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience developing and executing quality measurement plans and data visualizations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple enterprise quality projects and safety initiatives under supervision.
• Define, plan, and manage all project phases; coordinate activities and meetings.
• Develop deliverables such as workflow diagrams, reports, and timelines.
• Create and execute quality, safety, and improvement measurement plans with analysts.
• Present data and findings in various formats to stakeholders.
• Provide education and training to junior staff and coordinate data activities.
