Job summary
UVeye is seeking an experienced Quality & Reliability Manager to own product quality and field reliability across the full product lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader will set the quality standard for suppliers, contract manufacturers, in-house assembly, installations and the installed base.
This is a hands-on role with cross-functional impact across the US and abroad. The role requires 10+ years in quality/reliability, strong data skills, ISO 9001 experience, and
Qualifications
- 10+ years in quality and reliability for complex electro-mechanical hardware.
- Experience with Tier 1 EMS contract manufacturers and multi-site supply bases.
- Experience taking products through NPI to volume production with PFMEA.
- Hands-on supplier quality audits, qualification and corrective actions.
- Field reliability experience with installed bases and MTBF data.
- Experience building or running a QMS to ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
- Own the Q&R plan and the QMS across functions and sites.
- Lead supplier qualification, audits, and quarterly quality reviews.
- Drive 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers.
- Define incoming inspection and PFMEA for NPI and ramp-up.
- Own reliability metrics for installed base and field data.
- Publish weekly Q&R dashboards from ERP/PLM/CRM.
- Serve as escalation point for critical quality issues.
- Travel 25-30% including international sites.
