Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking an experienced Quality & Reliability Engineering Manager to coordinate continuous improvement for field reliability, warranty reduction and product quality. You will interface with field data, customer feedback and engineering teams to identify failure trends and lead cross-functional root-cause analyses.

The role requires seven+ years in engineering/quality/reliability, strong project management and deep data interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/related field or equivalent experience.
• Seven+ years of progressive engineering, quality, or reliability experience.
• Experience managing technical processes, warranty projects, or cross-functional failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure trends from field data, warranty and customer feedback.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate risk assessment and containment activities across product lines.
• Prepare management reports with warranty trends, charts, and dashboards.
• Support strategic planning, warranty forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
