A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Quality Regulatory Program Manager to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The successful candidate:
The Quality Regulatory Preparedness Manager ensures organizational compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. This role supports the clinical quality operations team in developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical quality processes to meet regulatory requirements. The manager stays current with federal and state healthcare interoperability standards, providing updates and guidance on regulatory changes impacting healthcare quality programs. This position bridges healthcare clinical federal and state regulatory programs, supporting the necessary technology and aiming for optimal clinical quality outcomes.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: BS/BA in a healthcare-related field
Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, clinical quality, clinical informatics, or related IT or healthcare professions
Preferred Education: BS/BA in nursing
Preferred Certification/Licensure: Certification in Clinical Informatics
Preferred Experience: 3 years of healthcare federal regulatory compliance experience
Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of CMS/TJC interoperability requirements, healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, LOINC, RXNorm), and understanding of provider and payor processes, especially in Arizona, Georgia, and Illinois.
Software: Ability to navigate federal and state reporting systems and electronic health records (e.g., EPIC)
Working Conditions: Remote position
Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting, talking, hearing, and visual acuity
