Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Quality and Records Manager to lead the local quality program and strengthen the QMS across projects in New York and beyond.

You will partner with area leadership, project managers, and the Quality Office to implement standards, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with corporate and ILG requirements. The role emphasizes training, audits, and clear communication of quality metrics to staff and executives.

Qualifications

• Professional degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 6 years industry experience with at least 3 years in related quality fields.
• Applicable quality certification (or ability to obtain).
• A firm understanding of QMS fundamentals.
• Proven skills in staff communication and engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience.
• Strong familiarity with MS Excel, Word, Adobe PDF and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local leadership representative for quality and support the implementation of the QMS.
• Provide guidance to Project Managers regarding development of project plans (PMP, QMP, RMP).
• Coordinate with local area project quality managers on project support needs.
• Regularly report QMS implementation, lessons learned, and audit strategies to the Quality Office.
• Communicate QMS and ILG updates to area leadership and staff as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain local area processes supporting QMS/ILG requirements.
• Develop and maintain onboarding program to provide awareness of HDR QMS.
• Respond to staff questions related to policies and procedures of the QMS.
• Identify local opportunities for training through monitoring quality-related loss trends.
