Job summary

HDR is seeking a Quality and Records Manager to lead local quality initiatives and support the QMS implementation across HDR's New Jersey operations. You will partner with area leadership to strengthen the culture of quality and ensure alignment with HDR's QMS standards.

In this role, you will guide project managers on quality plans (PMP, QMP, RMP), report on QMS progress, and develop local processes and onboarding programs to educate staff about HDR's QMS and ILG requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 6 years industry experience with at least 3 years in related quality fields.
• Applicable quality certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong understanding of QMS fundamentals.
• Proven staff communication and engagement skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, Adobe PDF and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local leadership representative for quality and support the implementation of the QMS.
• Provide guidance to Project Managers regarding development of project plans (PMP, QMP, RMP) and best practices.
• Coordinate with the local area business group project quality managers on project support needs.
• Regularly report QMS implementation, lessons learned, and audit resolution strategies to the Quality Office.
• Communicate QMS updates and Quality Office directives to area leadership and staff as appropriate.
• Develop and update local area processes supporting implementation of QMS and ILG requirements.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive new employees onboarding program to provide awareness of the HDR QMS.
• Respond to staff questions or issues related to policies and procedures related to the organization's QMS.
• Identify local opportunities for training and support through monitoring loss trends due to quality related issues.
