Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) seeks a Human Services Program Manager I (NS) to lead day-to-day TCL quality Assurance activities and steer performance improvements across Housing, Supportive Employment, Mental Health Services, and Discharge & Transition pillars. The role provides guidance, training, and SME-level support to TCL staff in quality initiatives.

The position is funded in part through federal funds, offers hybrid work options with onsite reporting

Qualifications

• Experience with Mental Health, Substance Use, or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities services.
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Skilled at facilitating process improvement and change management.
• Ability to analyze program data to identify trends and monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TCL quality assurance processes and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and support to TCL staff on quality practices.
• Serve as SME in quality improvement methodologies for the department.
