Job summary

General Motors LLC seeks a Quality Business Manager to plan, coordinate, and monitor the Quality Department's operational, financial, and administrative activities. You will ensure reliable information, adequate budget, and resources aligned with Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Continuous Improvement goals, while supporting Global Manufacturing Systems processes.

The role requires strong analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of Group Leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
• Onsite full-time role.
• Relocation benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of quality standards and communicate goals.
• Manage department manpower, training, postings, shift changes, overtime equalization.
• Validate GMS execution and support Go and See activities.
• Coordinate WPO execution, BPD reviews, and audit-readiness.
• Prepare and monitor department budgets and cost reviews.
• Lead monthly departmental meetings and mentor Group Leaders.
