Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking qualified individuals for Group Leader opportunities in Production, Quality, and Global Supply Chain. You will lead teams, drive operational excellence, and apply independent judgment within GM’s Global Manufacturing Systems with emphasis on safety, people, quality, responsiveness, cost, and the environment.

This role is onsite. Candidates should have supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and be willing to work rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• One year of direct supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Experience managing people and addressing performance concerns.
• Must be 18+ and hold High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and regularly weekends to meet production demands.
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily manufacturing plan and adjust operations as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with priorities.
• Apply independent judgment within Global Manufacturing Systems focusing on SPQRCE.
• Drive accountability through people and processes, including tough conversations.
