Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, or related field (or progress toward).
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of best practices and current research in early childhood education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Reliable, insured vehicle for transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment and/or periodic background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support facilities in achieving 4-Star or National Accreditation status through professional development and modeling best practices.
• Develop instructional materials and deliver training sessions.
• Recruit Entry-Level training to providers and provide on-site training to attain TRS status.
• Participate in community events as required.
• Assist in ordering materials and resources through the Quality Initiatives.
• Submit monthly reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
